Mr. S.S. Mundra

- Former Dy. Governor, Reserve Bank of India

Mr. S.S. Mundra retired as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India in 2017 after completing a stint of three years. Prior to that, the last position held by him was as Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda from where he superannuated in July 2014. In a banking career spanning over four decades, Mr. Mundra held several important positions including that of Executive Director of Union Bank of India, Chief Executive of Bank of Baroda (European Operations) amongst others. He also served as RBI's nominee on the Financial Stability Board (G20 Forum) and its various committees. Mr. Mundra was also the Vice-chair of OECD's International Network on Financial Education (INFE).

Prior to joining RBI, Mr. Mundra also served on Boards of companies like the Clearing Corporation of India Ltd (CCIL), Central Depository Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL), BOB Asset Management Company, India Infrastructure Finance Corporation (UK) Ltd. (IIFCL), IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Ltd., Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Company Ltd., National Payments Corporation of India Ltd., etc. The experience gained in guiding these entities has bestowed him with wide leadership skills and keen insights in best practices in Corporate Governance.

Amity University has conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.), Honoris Causa, upon Mr. Mundra, in recognition of his services in the field of banking and related areas.

Ms. Rachita Mistry

- Former International Athlete, Arjuna Awardee

Rachita Panda Mistry is an Indian professional sprinter from Odisha. In 2000, Ms. Mistry broke the 100 metre national record held by her idol, PT Usha. 11.38 second timing remained unbroken for13 years. Ms. Mistry represented India in 4 * 100 meters relay together with P. T. Usha, E. B. Shyla, and Saraswati Saha at the 1998 Asian Championships in Athletics where her team won the gold medal while also setting the current national record.

Ms. Mistry has been the recipient of several awards - In 1998, she was conferred the Arjuna Award for her contribution to Indian athletics, the Shiv Chhatrapati Award in 1999, and the 2015 Biju Patnaik Life Time Achievement Award. Ms Mistry has, for the past two decades, shared her knowledge and experience of fitness through her professional fitness training services.

Madhukar Kamath

- Chairman Emeritus DDB Mudra Group

Mr. Madhukar Kamath has more than four decades of experience in Advertising and Marketing Services and has spent over 25 years in erstwhile Mudra, now the DDB Mudra Group, in two separate stints. Under his leadership, Mudra transformed itself from an Advertising Agency into one of India’s leading Integrated Marketing Communications Groups.

Following his retirement, he turned an entrepreneur and is now the Chairman of Multiplier Brand Solutions, an Insights & Solutions company, connecting Shoppers with Brands.

Madhukar has served as the President of various Advertising bodies and councils like AAAI (Advertising Agencies Association of India), ASCI (The Advertising Standards Council of India) and as the Chairman of ABC ( The Audit Bureau of Circulation ).

As the Chairman of the Mudra Foundation and the Chairperson of the Governing Council of MICA, for over a decade, Madhukar helped build MICA into India’s foremost Strategic Marketing and Communications Management Institute.

In 2013, Madhukar became an Executive Board member of Plan India, which is a not-for-profit organization striving to advance children’s rights and equality for girls, thus creating a lasting impact. Helping Plan India impact the lives of 10 million girl children as a part of their Country Strategic Plan, is very close to his heart. Recently he has been appointed to the International Board of Plan International Inc., a Global organisation with a footprint in 80 countries across the Globe.

Madhukar is an Economics graduate from the Loyola College, Chennai, and studied Management at XLRI Jamshedpur, which has also conferred on him a Distinguished Alumnus award.
