People Who Have Benefited

Iqbal (Allahabad)

Was a tailor in Mumbai, opened his own provision store now

Fifty year old Iqbal from Allahabad had migrated to Mumbai where he ran a small tailoring business before the nationwide lockdown. Like many others, he too had to close down his business during the pandemic to go back to his hometown; he was left without a job for many months.

But today, with the help of the Kushal Bharat initiative, Iqbal has opened his own provision store where he sells grains and pulses. He is able to earn a livelihood and is supported by his wife, daughter and son.
